Connecting to ADW/ATP using Oracle Integration Cloud

Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) provides an easy-to-use, fully autonomous database that scales elastically, delivers fast query performance and requires no database administration.

Oracle Integration Cloud( (OIC) makes it very easy to connect to Oracle ADW or Oracle ATP using the upcoming ATP Adapter.

The same ATP adapter can used to connect to Oracle ADW as well as Oracle ATP.

Follow the below steps to connect to Oracle ADW/ATP from Oracle Integration Cloud

Pre-requisites

1. ADW/ATP Instance
2. Oracle Integration Cloud Instance
3. As I write this blog, Oracle ATP adapter is under preview. Once can request this adapter by enabling feature flag. Please follow this blog to enable ATP adapter feature flag on your OIC Instance

Once ADW/ATP Instance is successfully created, one needs to get the below details from the instance created in your cloud tenancy.

  • Download Client Credentials (Wallet)
  • ADW User and Pwd -> This would have been set during the OA instance creation.
  • TNS Name
  • Wallet Password
